The Stages of Colorectal Cancer
Stage 0 Colorectal Cancer

Stage I Colorectal Cancer
Stage I Colorectal Cancer is when the tumor is somewhere in the secondary and tertiary layers of the colon tissue. Again, like stage 0, usually stage 1 can be cured by surgery. There are also other additional treatments, but they are seldom needed.
Stage II Colorectal Cancer
Stage II Colorectal Cancer is when the cancerous tumors penetrate the colon wall. Like Stages 0 and I, surgery is used to treat the cancer, and can often be coupled with chemotherapy.
